First and foremost, the grammar is great. The way sentences are strung together and the way things are described are masterful and akin to what you would see in published works. Anyone who may have come across any other review of mine may have seen me mention that grammar is the most important part of a story to me and that's still true here. Honestly, the grammar and style of writing are the best part of the story for me. I like looking at the way the words are put together.

Story

I want to preface the next part by saying that this story isn’t necessarily my cup of tea per se, but the story itself is high quality. I’m usually not into stories about high school girls with slice-of-life elements, but it is very well done. If you’re into witchcraft and seeing how a witch would live life in a modern world filled with mystery and magic, you’ve come to the right place. 

Characters

The dialogue is also great. Every word feels natural and the way friends, family, and such converse, they truly feel like real people. The main character is very likable and I catch myself wanting to learn more about them.

Despite the genre not being my thing, it’s clear that this story is very well-written and deserving of recognition. It beats a lot of what’s out there in my opinion.

Loved the witchcraft!

"Very nice story! Whoever likes the Wicca lore will enjoy this, Cool explanations and descriptions about witchcraft, symbols, rituals - I appreciated that. It is a smooth read, I enjoyed getting to know all the characters and follow the story of Lexi. Most of the story so far is from Lexi's pov but I noticed that sometimes the pov suddenly changes.
I think it's better to make it more consistent, either take 1 pov or multiple rather than one dominant but interrupted with occasional change.
There is a group of characters and for most of the time is evident who is speaking, sometimes, also due to some mistakes in dialogue tags, it gets a bit confusing.
It's fun to get to know them, and Lexi is a very lovable character. I think you built her well. Overall I quite enjoyed reading this story, the plot progresses nicely and it compelled me to read on. Your writing style is quite neat and easy to read. The whole setup becomes even more intriguing with the introduction of the new family. Well done!"

An interesting take on modern-day magic.

"It's a fun story! It moves around quickly and keeps you on your toes. There are a few grammatical errors, but not enough to stop me from reading it. It's fun to see a more modern concept of magic that's based off a more pagan/wiccan concept, rather than reinventing the wheel of what magic is and where it comes from, while adding in newer ideas as to how it works and what can be done. I really enjoy the young-love story. It doesn't beat you in the head with it but makes each romantic scene important. I'm definitely curious as to where this will go!"
